then I watched 'Precious' and now I am really depressed. Weird how a movie can affect my mood like that.

I haven't seen the movie yet. Why do you think it made you depressed?

Side Comment: I sometimes consult the Screen-It Reviews before watching a movie I'm concerned might affect me badly. Their reviews are primarily directed at parents who'd like to know what's actually in the films their children would like to see. Consequently, their descriptions go well beyond the formal MPAA ratings.

sun flower I'm sorry to hear you're feeling depressed again. Try to look at the positives though, you woke up feeling ok so that's a good thing, maybe tomorrow you will do the same.. I hope so.
I really want to see that movie even though I know nothing about it, I don't think it's even been on in the cinema here in the UK.... (hmm I dunno) but I heard it won oscars or something.
Hope you feel better. Maybe you could find some 'feel good' movies to watch to bring your mood back up. Or listen to some up-beat music.
