Hi,
I've joined this group thanks to a UK study.. Already it feels like a good idea. If you've seen my new members post, you'll see that my depression is strongly linked to having chronic pain and fatigue, and also to having three children, all of whom have different special needs. I love my husband, and he's a big help, but is on the autistic spectrum and finds my moods difficult to follow and understand. I am seeing a therapist who is really helping, but... So the big daily challenge I have is caring. I manage to get the kids to school and back and feed them, but if it weren't for them, I'm not sure I would be able to get out of bed. It's almost as if I'm in a bubble - in the world but not? During the summer holidays, I have found myself in survivor mode which is superficially better. I'm less depressed. But it's really just a sham - underneath is just not pretty. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you and hopefully finding some common ground with people. B |

![]() I do understand the survivor mode. I think we all have to go through it sometimes. When the kids get back to school, and you are able to just let go for a bit, it might help. Talk to your therapist, and keep us posted on what's happening in your life.

That's actually the same thing that referred to me here, beingme. Same condition as well. It was more or less in 'remission' up until ironically I had therapy treatment end. And since I'm still a student and living at home mom steadfastly refuses to take me to see specialists because of copays and junk. But that's for my introduction thread.
We're here to help you, though! ![]() |
