i woke up early for once, and stayed up. it was so beautiful out, i literally haven't been out of my house in the past four or five days. i needed to get out, so i sat on my deck. and just the cool breeze, and the beauty of everything, made me pretty happy. i live in the woods, so it's really nice in the morning. and then my dad was on his way to work, and he was surprised to see me outside. we talked for a little bit, and he was joking around and stuff but he said he was worried about me. and that he gets depressed too, and whenever he does he thinks about me and feels better because even in sadness i can find happiness, which is something i never realized about myself. so for the first time in a really long time, i was happy. it's just the first step though! it just made me realize that some of the little things in life are the best, like just sitting outside on a nice day does good. and laughter really is good medicine. anyways, i hope some of you guys read this and felt a little better.
