I'm in a good place today. My visit with M last night was good. I didn't feel the need to be anything more than a friend. It was good to laugh and talk and watch our show (hell's kitchen) together.
Suppose I should fess up to the fact that I got completely trashed before she ever got there. Went to my mom's after work and had a couple glasses of wine (that's it! it's all my mom's fault! haha) When I got home, I decided to keep going. But by the middle of the show the buzz was pretty much gone. So it wasn't the alcohol that made it a good visit.
I'm still, though, toying with the idea of just walking away for a little while until I can heal myself some. We'll see how the next visit goes.
Thanks SO MUCH for all the support you guys have been giving me in the past week. Wow, it's only been a week?? seems so much longer!!
