I am starting to think that being bipolar Type 2 is not my only problem. I am so TIRED all the time and I ache all over as if I had the flu. I feel so lazy because I spend so much time in bed. But no matter how much I sleep it's never enough. My joints hurt but are not swollen. My eyes burn. I am scared to tell my doctor because he will think that I am just lazy. Or maybe it's part of depression. I don't know.

Has anyone else ever felt this way?

I know a friend who felt like that. Turned out she had fybromyalgia. I think it would help if you let your doc know how you are feeling.
Thanks for this!

Depression can also cause physical aches and pains but yours sound like there's something physical happening. I agree it sounds like fibromyalgia. Get a complete physical done with blood work - ask for your vit D levels, they can test for evidence of rhuematoid arthritis, and lime disease (if you've been around mosquitoes). I hope you feel better soon.

when my depression comes in strong it feels very much like the flu, I often think I'm coming down with something ... then a week passes and I still feel the same and didn't actually come down with the flu, so I realize it's depression.
