i have been suffering from depression since i was 10, im 18 now. so thats 8 years...8 long painful years. i use to be able to handle it (when i was little i "manned" up, telling myself i am a big boy and that big boys don't cry or show pain....so i didn't) until recently though, the great defense i set up; my way of thinking has be broken (for the better i guess) i use to look down on everyone else. now i don't, i now have some humility in my life. but now that my walls are broken..i gotta say...it hurts

It does hurt & it is miserable. Are you in treatment & on meds? True depression is not something to take lightly & you don't have to handle it by yourself.

Yes, even if for the better, that hurts.

Do you have any ideas where your "reconstruction" will take you? (Feel free to ignore the question; this is your place, your thread.)
