Hi to all, just a vent really. So my son is back at college for his induction day, no taxi. Ring the college and apparently the transport policy has changed, but they didn't send my any information and I can't drive him there because I'm waiting for a mechanic to come and fix my puncture. Spent £180 on car repairs already this week and now another £80 for the tyre. So I'm worried about money. I just want to go to bed and cry but I need to force myself to do some housework because the house being a mess will make me feel worse. I have no energy, less than usual, and no drive to do anything. I don't want to do anything. One of those days when nothing will make me feel better.

I can really relate. If my house is a mess I feel worse too. So I drag myself around cleaning it. But it does feel a bit better when things are in order. A bit like having some control over something. How many times have I dragged myself around the house with the vacuum or rag, with my heart feeling like a lead weight in my chest. Just wanting to sit down and cry. I also worry a lot about money, so I can relate there too. I wish I had the right thing to say to help you feel a little better, but at least you may not feel quite so alone. One thing that helps me is to listen to music. I like classical and find it is somewhat calming. Also, don't forget a nice break. Have a nice hot drink and a look at some beautiful places online? I look at beautiful gardens and imagine I am taking a little trip there. Many good wishes to you. Hope you feel better soon. ![]() E |

If today you wont feel better...there is always tomorrow.

In depression . . . faith in deliverance, in ultimate restoration, is absent. The pain is unrelenting, and what makes the condition intolerable is the...feeling felt as truth...that no remedy will come -- not in a day, an hour, a month, or a minute. . . . It is hopelessness even more than pain that crushes the soul.-William Styron |
