It's nearly 5am. I'm sitting in a hotel room in London where I stayed for my layover en route to school in Scotland (after a 7 hour flight, 4 hours of which a child sitting near me was SCREAMING). I have slept a total of maaaaaaaaybe 5 hours (if I'm lucky) in the past 48 hours. I'm exhausted and I won't be able to sleep right away when I get to school because I have a ton of administrative stuff to do before the end of the day. I want to curl up in a ball and cry. I hate travelling. I'm so used to it that I go on autopilot to finish the two day trip it takes to get to school, but in that time I feel like something inside me just goes dead, dormant, like I have to shut down all my emotions in order to keep it together. I dread this trip every time I have to take it.

Positive vibes would be much appreciated.

Sending you tons of positive vibes (((((Rececca))))) I hate traveling too and I avoid it now wherever possible (even though I end up feeling guilty, which is also problematic!) I really admire your ability to get through this trip! It sounds pretty gruelling. I hope the last leg goes as smoothly as possible and that you're able to catch up on some sleep before too much longer.
Thanks for this!

Thinking of you. Sounds like a difficult trip. Get some good rest and take care of yourself when you can.
