Lady D...

I think that you know that the majority of people on this board welcome any new comers with open arms. If someone is genuinely looking for help then they are not going to be battered or abused. I think the issue is what is the intent of this poster. Many feel their only objective is objective is to just get on your nerves.

I used to play cards on the internet quite a bit. During the card game you could also chat with the people you were playing against. Every once in a while you would get people that would start something in chat just to get a reaction, get on people's nerves... piss them off. It is a ploy to entertain themselves and gain attention. I have seen it so many times before and it is very clear to me this is what is happening here.

Lou talks in circles and has never been straight, open, honest or direct. He has yet to articulate what his "message" is all about. And, I suspect he never will because then the "game" will be over. He "claimed" to be unable to receive private messages. My fear is that was a ploy to get people to send him an e-mail so that he would have their e-mail addresses for his own purposes. Funny, but all of a sudden he was able to receive private messages. The last straw is that he comes on here and claims to be his wife. This was insulting to everyone here.

Then kvinn.. creates a web site for Lou to use, which was a great idea. But, my fear is that he is feeding right into what this poster wants. He wants people to react to him, respond to him. He will never use that web site. He will drag on the conversation about it as long as he possibly can just to pull kvinn's chain.

I agree with you that if you don't want to deal with this guy then just don't click on their posts. However, I surely don't want to see him take advantage of the kind and gentle people that frequent this board.

I totally agree Vet,

That is where it gets tricky, do we do something or just leave him alone.
I do not want anyone taking advantage of, but he already has, by being "two" people, and Doc John will be furious when he gets back and sees this going. ON the person took advagate of the time when Doc was going on his Honeymoon.
I just wanted his homecoming to be nicer, but alas it will not be..

Lady D, Lady D, Lady D.....

You know Doc John may have a very different reaction that what you may think. You are taking this way too personally. Since this is a public forum it is bound to get "invaded", there is bound to be controversy... it is just the nature of the beast.

Could things have been handled differently? Probably.... maybe... but it matters not at this point. At least they were handled. Its over... done. And, Doc John just might be pleased with how some of the people on this board rallied together, and how they supported one another. And how they tried to bring peace back to the boards. It all depends on how you look at it. Is the glass half empty or half full??

You're right, Vett. And besides, Doc John deals with problems a lot easier than we do.

Lady D, don't worry, ok? Everything will be fine. I know what you mean about Doc John's homecoming, but he's had this site for so long that none of this will be new to him. I'M NOT VERY IMPRESSED...
