The world is a scary place and danger seems to lurk everywhere. I'm always in pain and don't know what to do.

There are ppl who love me and I love them.

But there is so much pain.
Thanks for this!

The quest for happiness isn't easy and sometimes the thought of doing all of those stupid "get better" exercises can make one wretch.
Thanks for this!

I'm glad there are people who love you and who you love. That is worth a lot. I know what you mean about the pain though. And I also know how hard it is to keep doing things that are supposed to help us when we don't see any progress. But the progress will come if we stick with it! It's just painfully slow-going sometimes. Are you getting any treatment/professional support?

I am receiving treatment and it helps. I've been on just about every medication for depression and anxiety in several different combination's. But I'm constantly trying to feel better. It's exhausting. Thanks for your post. It did make me feel a little bit better today.

I hear ya! It is exhausting, especially if we've already tried a bunch of different things. This site is a really good way to get some extra encouragement and support, so it's great you are here. And well done for keeping on trying to get better!!! I think we are getting somewhere, even when it feels like we aren't. And I'm wishing you good days ahead!!
Thanks for this!

Your words reflect how I feel. I only wish we could find a way to feel better or to be healed.
Thanks for this!

Thanks. It would be nice for the stupidity to clarify itself and reveal some solution. But it never does.

Perhaps the world is scarier now because you feel like you have a lot invested in it. We pour our hearts out into our world, yet its ability to take us out of the picture at any moment remains.

That is just reality. We cant change that. We can't be born in a safer time. Sometimes you just have to focus on what we can change.

We can just do our best to change the world so our future might not feel the same way. In the meantime, make sure that you soak up the precious moments of love, because you wont be here forever. But listen- love is about taking risks and subjecting yourself to danger and pain. Emotionally sure, but sometimes physically- which is why women have babies in the first place.

I'm not sure there ever was a safe time to live in. As long as humans roam safety will always be an issue.

However, you're correct I wont be here forever-nobody will. I've taken plenty of risks and love can be sweet but it doesn't stop the pain from strangling me.
