This song:

Cut Me Free by Olivia Lufkin, I was listening to it just a moment ago, and I always loved the song but I never really gave a second thought to the lyrics, but today I just listened a little harder than I had before and to me it sounds like she's singing about depression, negative thoughts, etc.

Just something I picked up on a few moments ago, not sure what my point is or even if it makes sense..? For me at least, it relates completely..

TY for sharing that. I just listened to it. I had never heard it before. I think it is interesting that she recognizes that without her, it can not live, yet it has control over her. I totally understand that. It seems like it doesn't make sense, but I get it. I live it. Thanks again.

hey, no problem. I find that being depressed has made it hard to express how I feel to those around me, so I search for things that help. Music plays the biggest role and my search for artists I can relate to has pulled me so far out of the mainstream that most of my favourites have only been heard of by a handful of people.
