I wrote this today when i felt really awful and it made me feel better. I hope it inspires you guys to keep going as it has inspired me...

What depression feels like

welcome to our minds,
we hope you will survive,
you may call us weak,
but you dont know how strong we have to be,

we tread back to the battleground,
like weary soldiers back at war,
we're tired because we feel sorrow,
like no ones ever felt before,

next time you start to speak,
look at the blisters upon our feet,

and you wonder why we take pills,
because we have to carry what no one else will.
Thanks for this!

That's so precise, so punk. Thank you for putting into words what we all feel and what we hope others will understand. Understand so that they can realise at last depression digs deep into every part of us and takes a dreadful toll each time it hits

Thought provoking. I love poetry, it's such a great way to express from the heart.
