i have discovered that if i take two pain pills at bedtime, i am pain free for about half of the next day. thus, my depression is better. BUT, then about noon, i crash. if i take more pain pills, i'm too drowsy... meds? can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

I'm only taking over the counter stuff but I feel the same way. Right now I'm taking Tylenol because I'm out of Aleve and I wake up in the middle of the night in pain. When I take the Aleve with the Tylenol I can get through the night and the morning OK, and then another dose gets me through most of the day OK. The Aleve alone doesn't seem to do it either.

I was worried about taking too much but my doctor actually wants me to take the Aleve regularly for my arthritis. Too bad I'm out of it now...
