Nothing. I felt better for a week. I don't know what to do.
I am incredibly lonely living in the country. I know only I have the power to get out and I feel like too much has happened and it is not possible. Being here is not a vacation it is torturous and I am supposed to be on medical leave. I am very social...in 4 months, on medication, and a total mess, I met at least 6 people my age in my hometown while I was there. Here: no one. The people don't leave their houses. __________________ Stop looking around you have already arrived. |

Yeah, I know how you feel -- except in reverse. I grew up in the country and hated the city. The people all seemed stand-offish and unfriendly at first.

((((((((YACK)))))))))))) Im so sorry that you are feeling lonley. Could you create a weekly event to draw people out of their houses? A book club, a night out, or volunteer? Sometimes that helps me.

Well...you'll always have friends on PC. Sorry it's so tough.
