I am depressed and lonely. My fiance had to move out for a while. I am not used to being alone. Our relationship was my whole world. He has substance abuse issues he trying find residential treatment. He may have to stay for 6 months. He is my best friend, my only friend. We are both quiet and shy. He also have a mental illness. We understand each other. My ex always yelled at me didn't understand depression. My fiance "GOT IT". I feel lost with out him. I guess I am whinning. It is just a lot harder than I thought. I am hardly eating or sleeping.

I am sorry ayana you are going through this . I know he had to leave your house for his safety and the safety of your family, but that doesn't change your deep feelings for him. Will you be able to see him soon in a non-dangerous setting?

Hi Ayana ~ I know how it is to be depressed and lonely. It's not a good feeling at all.

How about talking with your doctor about this? Hopefully this is just a temporary feeling, and you will come out of it -- but perhaps your doctor can help you with this depression. You COULD take a temporary antidepressant so that you aren't in that deep dark hole every day. That's a horrible feeling. I'm clinically depressed, so I always have to take an antidepressant - I've been depressed since I was a child. But you might just have to take one for a few months or so.

Talk to your doctor and see what he says. There's no point in suffering if you don't have to. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee

We have had a visit and it went well. He is not staying with me. He is trying to get into a program.

I saw my doctor this afternoon. She increase my anxiety medication (Buspar) and Propananol( a Blood Pressure med that helps with anxiety). She didn't change my antidepressants.
