Sometimes I get really depressed and I don't know why. I think its getting better but sometimes I'll just be so sad for days. What makes me feel worse is I have nothing to be sad about, I just am. I have a good life, a lot of support, nobody knows I feel this way, but I'd rather keep it to myself. I just want to be happy and stop having to deal with the sadness.

I can relate to what you are saying. Wish I could say something to to make a difference to how you are but I feel like you do and am rapidly losing hope of ever feeling better. I have a few good days but mostly all i wake up to is and overwhelming feeling of sadness and no matter how positive I try to be it wont go away. I feel like my heart is broken and I have felt like that all my life dont know how to heal.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I have no reason to be sad or feel this way. I have a lot of great things in my life. I try to change my attitude. sure some days will be ok and i can last but most days you wake up with this great pressure build up on you of just numb empty overwhelming feeling. I don't have any advise for you I'm sorry. All i can tell you is your not alone. I feel the same way and so do a lot of people here on PC so keep writing and getting things out and hang in there.

Hi folks ~ If there is NO reason for you to feel this way -- and you've felt like this for more than a month or so -- it's time to see your doctor!! Chances are good that you are depressed and need some intervention. Sounds like ALL of you need an anti-depressant. Sometimes our bodies go into chemical imbalance - and we need help with it. Your doctor can prescribe an anti-depressant to get you back on track - even if it's just temporary.

Please talk with your doctors! You don't NEED to feel this way. God bless and take care. Hugs, Lee
