im really considering suicide. this is the closet iv ever felt to really wanting to take my own life. someone please help me. tell me that this world is worth lving, that not evryone a total asshole

I believe in living, but I'm aware of a wild array of opinions and philosophies regarding the value of life. Ending one's life terminates one's participation in the discussion, not to mention enjoying coffee in the morning and looking at pictures of puppies.

I believe, even in New York, decent, caring people can be found. You may not have encountered any of them yet. Seek, and you may find.

As a student (yes?), you have some access to counseling services. Are they any help?

I'm glad you posted doriangray. What kind of emotions are you feeling? Has something happened in you life recently that brought this thought about? You said 'that not everyone is a total asshole'...did someone hurt you? What happened? How do you feel about talking to a professional? I think by posting it is clear a big part of you wants to live, you just want the pain to stop. We will do everything we can to listen to your concerns and help you. ((((Hugs))))

i feel slightly clamer now the i did last night, but i still feel like ****. im just really loseing hope that there are any good people in the world, like there's more bad in the world then good. people just want to expolit each other an everything else living around us. and the more i think about it, the more i really dont be a part of it. iv lost my trust in human beings.
