Don't have a lot of advice on the dysthymia, but be careful with the gabapentin. Not sure what dose you are on, but it higher dosages it can cause severe weight gain. Are you having nerve pain? Is that why the gabapentin was prescribed? If so, talk to him about Tegratol, it works the same as gabapentin and does not have the weight gain side effect. If you start feeling hungry about an hour-2 hours after taking the gabapentin, that is an early warning sign. Hope some of this helps

![]() i was diagnosed with double depression few years ago which is like having depression and bouts of dysthymia (apologies of what i say doesnt apply to you but i'll try help anyway !) i totally get how you feel about the lack of energy and tiredness thing,for years that was me.i could sleep for 12+ hrs and still be exhuasted and i never had the energy to do anything. i know people will probably have said this to you but go out for some walks ![]() hope your having a good day *hugs* |
