I know I have severe depression but I've looked back on my life for the last few weeks and think I may have OCD. Everything always has to be perfect and my way is the right way and only way. I tend to be controlling of people because I don't understand why they do things the way they do. Why can't they just do it like I said? It is way more time effective and organized. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there has the same problems. If so, what medications have you tried and what about therapy? How does your family deal with it and do they help you out? I'm just very very confused.....

You might. There is a quiz for that if you want to click on "quizzes" above and try it. Perfectionism often goes along with depression. Therapy and medication can help a lot. Another thing that helps with perfectionism is flylady.net. You're probably a great organizer, but it sounds like you'ld like to be able to let go a little bit. Any time you recognize a problem and know that you want to change, you're already half way there. Depression & OCD
