The evil gene that this topic represents runs in my family, my brother took himself out by biting the bullet, and i wonder why im still here living with it myself, and just think every-DAY how much longer can I go on, and what is to become of me.
I can never get a loving girl to be myside or be at my feet no matter what I do or say or act. I would love for once be someones 'favorite' person or even have someone invite me to go do something period ( like to a party or social gathering).. Im always last or no choice.. Im always shoved in the dark. I honestly get NO respect from anyone at all. ![]() ![]() |

Hello, SwellFella!
From your other posts it seems you've been around some pretty "interesting" people. Only if you care to, do you have anything to say about your various family members? What's this about an "evil gene?"

You sound like a fairly young person, as compared to an old retired person like me. You have so much life ahead of you--good things are possible, even if they don't seem so now. Younger people are more selfish and you get wiser and more mature with the passing of time. It changes your values--you learn to respect people who care about others and that character is most important in choosing life partners.
There are a lot of us who have inherited our propensity for depression. Maybe having depression run in the family also leads to a less-than-optimal family situation growing up. That can predispose you to depression without any genetic help. Do take things a day at a time. Make goals for yourself--keep yourself open to the possibility that you may someday realize some or all of them. |
