Goldy,
Yes you are doing the threads right... keep posting it does help, sometimes just getting things out in the open can help to alleviate some of the feelings. Emotional Pain is the worst, but can be dealt with. Life is possible after so much trial.

One quick suggestion
Exercise can be very helpful in dealing with depression and the mind/body connection. I personally enjoy Yoga, it helps with just relaxation, and can be a family event. Try to get your children to do so with you, tell them it will help them to get back to the basics of life, Breathing. For anxiety it is one of the best things out there, and for depression. Yes life is hard but getting back to the basics can be a life saver.

Good luck and just keep on smiling.

I'm sorry you are going through all of this. It's so tough to see our kids go through stuff, but even tougher when we have our issues to work through. Are you in therapy or on meds?? Both of those could help you get through this mess. Just hang in there.

i am sorry that you have so many struggles piled upon you. it is understandable that you are so depressed. it is good that you are seeking out support for yourself. it is important that you address your own needs first because your children can only do as well as you are. get yourself in a stable place and then you can be more affective in addressing your childrens needs. one step at a time. you can only do so much. be kind to yourself.
