Hello im a new member an am lookin for some sound advice. I have had 2 depressive episodes, at 18 an 22, likewise has my brother, at 18 and 24 - symptoms include v low moods, scattering thoughts, dissorientation and v bad headaches. researchin myself is this symptoms of unipolar depression? I would like to know available treatments from this source as find it difficult to chat to friends an family as feel i will worry them.thanks

is there any way you can get to a medical doctor or, more helpful, a psychiatrist? i've had similiar symptoms, but am on meds now that have taken care of me. but, i think you really need to see a professional. keep me updated. xoxox pat

hi tom and welcome! we have many members here that live with various forms of depression.

I agree with Pat, I would contact a counselor/therapist and talk with them. From there they might suggest a psychiatrist or MD for medication, or might feel that therapy alone would be good for the time.
