hi
I am hoping that someone here might know of an online seniors supprt group for people who live with depression. I turned 60 years old. And am looking for online community and support. If you know of any good resources for online support for Seniors,I would be grateful to hear about it. thanks
Thanks for this!

Sorry, I don't know of any particularly geared to seniors...mainly just wanted you to know that I read your post and was thinking about you.

Have you checked here? I think there may be a senior subgroup or two here. I don't know if they're specifically depression focused but I think they cover that.

Thats a good idea. I could try it. I have been googling for online senior citizens depression forums or chat groups. None seem to exist. I am not positive how to look for a "subgroup". But I think I can figure it out. thanks again, arcangel. ( like your username, btw. I feel very close to a specific archangel)

There are lots of nooks and crannies here so good luck with that. If you don't find one here....maybe you can start one.

A few times through the years I have looked for senior support groups and never could find one.. I have lived with depression for many years also.. I turn 65 next month and it would be really nice to have people around my age to talk with.. yes really nice, I get so lonesome sometimes..

Hi SunsetSunrise, I just went and checked out over 200 groups, and found none particularly for seniors, which makes me sad also, as I can give, and receive, senior advise too. I'm justrosie!
