So I went to see Pdoc it was awful...so horribly awful. I got totally and completely honest with her about anything and everything in regards to sui ideas/plans. Well I know she is mad because I have been lying to her for about a year and a half and now she knows it. With all that I told her she nearly put me back in the hospital...EEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!! Now I have to T tomorrow and Im sure I will end up having to rehash the conversation with Pdoc which so I honestly dont want to do that Ive considered cancelling tomorrow with T. I cant my appt is in less than 24 hours and I have to give 24 hour notice. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im just exhaisted and its going to worse tomorrow after T Im sure of it.

Rehash. <Begin personal rant> I dislike rehashing conversations I've had with one doctor with another, and I can't count how many times I've had to do it. Why do I, the patient, have to be the middleman between professionals? <End personal rant>

Your current situation is a bit different. Today was extremely agitating. You understandably don't want to relive that -- and that you can tell T. Give T as much information as you feel comfortable offering and then politely inform them of your psychological exhaustion.

You have an illness. You cannot just set aside your illness and its effects every time you sit down with these pseudo-authority figures. Sure, it helps you to cooperate with them as best you can, but you can't pretend you're well just for their convenience.

And, as best you can now, focus on your own needs and safety. Be well.

In situations like that, I tell my T that I am upset over (fill in the blank) however I can't talk about it yet, and that I will let her know when I am ready to talk about it. My T has always been very understanding when I tell her that. We then go on to talk about something else. Usually if I haven't brought it up again by the middle to end of the next session, she will ask, and then we either talk about it or I tell her that I am not ready yet. Also, I know that my T has talked with my Pdoc before. If you feel that would be better, then you could ask your T to call your Pdoc.

Just hoping like crazy that it goes better with T. If not I may end up in the hospital about 3 1/2 months after I got out.
