I've been depressed for a long time. I have had several therapists, been on antidepressants, and even been in a mental hospital because I started cutting at was going to kill myself. I'm immune to antidepressants somehow... I've been on 3 different kinds and none of them did anything. Talking to people doesn't help much either, it just makes me look at myself as doing everything wrong. I want it to stop but I don't know how...

I'm sorry you having a hard time. Sense talking to people doesn't help, have you thought about doing self-help books. Maybe the people you have tried talking to in the past wasn't the right match for you. Maybe try a new person. Hope things start looking up for you. Take care and be safe!!

I've had over seventy different combinations of medications, spent time in our local mental health resort, seen 5 different Pdoc's and several different therapists and still not cured. It may take awhile. You will try several different medications in various doses. You have to check out several different Pdoc's and therapists before you find the ones you feel comfortable with. Always be honest with your Pdocs and therapists. If they are not helping tell them they're not helping. If after several visits with the Pdoc or therapist you can't work with them then go to the next one and try again. Please come here and post and let us know how things are going. There is always someone here to listen. Don't give up on yourself. I am sure you can survive the journey. ![]()
