1. Medication. Depression has physical and psychological aspects. Chronic depression can lead to the fact that the brain stops producing beneficial hormones. In such cases, to help people get stronger, you need medication. Then person will be able to overcome the crisis and eventually get rid of depression as well as the need for treatment.

2. Understanding why a person turns to God. Most people turn to God because of suffering and hardship.

3. Understanding the nature of the mind. Understand the power of the mind over the body and the effects of neuroses and psychoses. Remind yourself that the mind can be your best friend as the worst enemy.

4. Understanding the difference between failure and a sense of failure as such. A small error is quite different from total collapse.

5. Understanding the difference between unipolar and bipolar depression. Depression can manifest itself as depression, and as a big mistake.

6. Brighter lighting. Since some types of depression are due to exposure to the environment, brighter lighting and more sunlight may be helpful. There is, in particular, seasonal depression associated with bad weather.

13. Put an end to the fears of the "what if". Instead of thinking about what could happen bad, think about what might happen good.

14. Learn to cope with anger. While the mind is engulfed by anxiety, it will remain a slave to depression.

15. Learn to forgive. Forgiving, we get rid of many troubles.

16. Heredity. If your family members suffer from depression, you need to treat this issue with the increased attention, not to become a carrier of the same problem.

17. Protection of possession. - If we can avoid the low consciousness, it will protect us from such intrusions.

18. Good spiritual practice. If we are regularly engaged in spiritual practice, the mind is less responsive to all sorts of attacks.

19. Increased spiritual standards. The more our commitment, the greater is the benefit given to those who karma is associated with us, as well as ourselves.

20. Understanding the nature of the "dark night of the soul." Be prepared to take this period of severe trials as a blessing, contribute to your spiritual growth.

21. Understanding the phenomenon of "maternal blues". To avoid being caught unawares, women can prepare themselves in advance to ensure that they will experience some confusion and depression after childbirth.

22. Knowledge of the prevalence of depression among senior managers. We need to understand that material success has its price. It can even deny our spiritual life mysteries and adventures, especially if the person is not able to develop a rich inner life.

23. Avoid excessive attachment. Devotion is one of the main reasons for the emergence and development of depression.

24. Gratitude as a lifestyle. If you are filled with gratitude, you have no room for depression.

25. Be unselfish. Depression is a sign that we are too self-centered.

26. Positive self-talk. We were largely influenced by our thoughts and our inner dialogue, than our words and deeds.

27. Depression - is the lack of love for others. Showing love for people and ceasing to worry too much about you and expect love and support from others, we stop the depression. Those who generously give love to others, never have drawbacks.

28. Short-term objectives. Success in achieving short term goals will help us win the whole battle.

29. Benefit. We need to understand that unconsciously we seek to benefit, or to get "dividends" out of depression.

30. Laughter. - is necessary to learn laugh at your stupidity and attachments as well as on the determination to remain in the drama of illusion.
