While cleaning the room today, I realized that reciting sentences like "There is absolutely no reason for me to be depressed.", "Depression is the devil's s***.", and "God helps me." is helpful in struggling through depression.

Good to hear you have affirmations working for you.

I disagree with the baseline though, if that's ok? Simple depression remedy there is always a reason. We might not like the reason, and it might not be one in our own best interest, but there's a reason. TC

Hi, piggysmile - don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before. Simple depression remedy

Your post reminded me to claim God's promises - I should probably write some out on 3x5 cards and post them in prominent places (like my bathroom mirror!)

I agree with _Sky that if our brain chemicals are out of whack it is a medical issue; however, positive affirmations are better than my tendency to feel sorry for myself sometimes.

Thank you!! Simple depression remedy
