I was sitting all alone at home today and I just broke down. I went and got my medicine and took pills. Some being ibprofen. Im not sure what to do anymore. I cant take all this stress I have and dealing with my self injury and my dad. I couldnt stop myself from taking the medicine and now I scared and depressed still. Im starting to feel dizzy and light-headed... Will I be okay? And how am I supposed to manage my depression and self injury if everyone thinks I'm better but I just feel worse?

There IS help out there Ashley -- are you seeing a therapist? If you are, please call him IMMEDIATELY. You need to be seen. And please don't take anymore medication right now -- your body wouldn't be able to handle it. You need help -- if you don't have a therapist, talk to your doctor and tell him what happened -- be HONEST with him. He can help. God bless & let us know that you're okay! Hugs, Lee |

Did you get to the ER? If not please go, taking pills is dangerous and getting to the hospital means you can avoid any possible damage, wishing you the best

Ashely,
Did you take those pills because you wanted to end it or did you do it for attention and as a cry for help? You need help. Please talk to your therapist and go to your psychiatrist to tell him what you did. Take care! |

Ashley, did you go to ER? It's really important, for example if you took an overdose of paracetamol, you would feel fine but it would be killing you slowly. Ibuprofen can damage your internal organs like your liver, it can cause permanent liver damage and lead to permanent shutting down of all your organs leading to death. You need to let someone know what pills you have overdosed on as soon as possible.
