maybe i need to call a hotline. i have issues that may exceed the capabilities of the site. i scared and feel very alone even in the presence of others. i have NO ONE to talk to about anything. no one wants to hear it. they tell me im selfish if i talk about ending my life or just trying to live my life thru my issues. i dont have a diagnosis i dont take medication for anything clinical. im just a sad sad person and for no apparent reason. thats sarcasm. matter of fact there are a few sarcastic remarks and i do not mean anything by it, it just comes with the mood im in.

Welcome, this is a safe place to come. I guess it can be scary to have a label like depression but sometimes it is helpful to finally get the help we need. If you don't have one, I suggest talking to a doctor or a therapist. Its difficult to overcome depression on our own. I know what its like to have my peers seem further along and more mature than I am, but we have to not judge our insides by others outsides.

Depression is more common than you might think, and it ranges in mild cases to severe. Find out how severe it is, and know that there are a lot of options for you to get well. Go to a good doctor, if you dont feel comfortable with the first one go to another one until you feel they treat you like a person. I'm considering just coming out with my depression. Im sick of not being able to tell my coworkers why i have been off work for weeks. Its not right that we feel like we have to hide it. Anyway....this is a good place im new to the site but i like it so far.
