Oh dear Fuzzy bear... I can so relate to "twisted" thinking.
It's a very big step and struggle to realize some thoughts are twisted and still an even bigger struggle in ignoring them and replacing them with more helpful thoughts. Sometimes I feel as though I'm going against a brick wall!!!  You can run your thinking by me any time if that would help-- I'm just a PM away. mandy |

No they don't have to be right at all. They don't know what you deal with, they don't know what you have been through. Others can't understand and judge or offer opinions that "have" to be right especially if they don't know you. We (as humans) often give others more power than we give our own thoughts...even when we DO know better... better than them especially.
Don't let the twisted thinking get you down bear. Stop the thoughts... self care says to  You're doing good to think they aren't right. Countering the wrong thinking is a good thing! That part of you that "knows" the thinking of others isn't correct is enough to build upon... keep feeding that bear!

Some people will not even give you a chance to say your side of the story because they have made their mind and they don't want to see any other way.
Some people don't want to change their opinion and they will close the door on the conversation because deep down they are not secure with their decision or opinion and they know that can be change but they don't want to change it. Some people will also push you aside because, without knowing it yourself, you are much stronger then them and that scare them. Some people have a one track mind. They are not open to new perceptions. Sometime there is situations where you can't do nothing about it. Even if you are willing to try, the door is locked. Do take care of yourself!
