Hi all,

Anyone else just tired of the constant battle with depression? I have been hospitalized for severe sui depression twice this year...once at the end of March and once in mid-july. I am sooo tired all the time right now, my anxiety is pretty high right now, and I have no motivation to do anything anymore. I see T 2 weeks from today and pdoc in december. Fall/Winter is definitely the worst for me although it can be bad anytime. The only good thing is the sui thoughts arent real strong right now. I dont know what to do...i dont want to call T or pdoc yet but afraid if I wait too long it will be a disaster. I WILL NOT END UP IN THE HOSPITAL AGAIN BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. Ughh I dont know what to do...

Hey Melisssad81 - sorry you have been having a hard time, those thoughts can be so horrible and tiring - glad you have your T and pdoc. I was wondering if you do contact them while the thoughts aren't so strong that maybe they are able to work with you to prevent another admission rather than waiting until the thoughts are possibly stronger?

Take care - Soup

Any possibility that the tiredness is due to something other than depression? When you were in the hospital, did they give you a general physical?

Rohag no general physical when in the hospital. They did check thyroid the first time I was in because they wanted to put me on lithium and that came out normal. Otherwise I dont know what it would be do to...theres really nothing big going on stress wise. It all feels too much like how my depressions start. I will call T monday and just talk to her for a min about this see what she has to say.
Thanks for this!

this mental illness stuff is very tiring. I have been off work for several weeks (a couple of them in the hospital) I haven't done much physical, but I feel so exhausted. I just want REST. Ya do call your T before things get out of hand again.

Yes, good idea to call doc now while you are still ahead, before going down again.
I found that the best way, because then there is less going on, and more clarity on the issues at hand, so more help can be given at that time. Good luck.
