Dooown, doown, down... Dooown, doown, down...

Hanging in the air, with no clue about what the future holds for me. My psychiatrist doesn´t understand a thing!
How I miss my psychologist! Typical, that he moved and got himself a new job.
I doubled my dose of Zoloft today- soooo tired.
Just can´t smile today, my mouth is dead!

Sorry to hear you're so down and tired, Ninni.
Were you switched from Zoloft to another med or just had the Zoloft increased. What level was it increased to? (I've been on Zoloft for like 15 years, so was seeing where you were with it.)

Holding you up until you can smile again.

Sorry you are feeling so alone right now. What exactly is it that your psychiatrist doesn't understand...maybe I can help...after many years of therapy and going through pdoc after pdoc, you kinda learn a lot of things!

I'm here if you need someone to chat with.

I don´t know for how long I´ve been on Zoloft, about 4 months, I think. I´ve increased it from 100 mg/day to 200 mg/day.

Thanks for caring!!!

It's very dangerous to adjust the meds yourself. Try to take it as prescribed. Adjusting the dosage yourself may cause serious damage to yourself.

Remember that while the MEDICINE does and will help with our major down falls that we must also do our part and work on healing the wounds that control from with in us.... the mind will never let us be at peace until the healing is complete, free from that which haunts YOU.

I´ve been through CBT for over a year. I´ve been fighting hard! I didn´t even want to take meds at the beginning. But I now know that I need them, until I get well.
Deep down, I´m a fighter. But fighters get hurt too. I need help to heal my bleeding wounds!

My old psychologist promised me that I would get more CBT and put me up on a waiting list. Now, when he´s gone my psychiatrist and the team says that I´ve had so many hours of CBT that I won´t get more. But I need it!!!!! So frustrating! They should have listened to my psychologist, but NO! He knew me very well! I had so much confidence in him!
They said, that when a psychologist leave a patient behind, they tend to worry about how the person is going to cope without them. And they meant that this was the reason that he put me on the list. HOW IDIOTIC! Hmmm, wonder if they had said the same thing with him in the room???!!!
I have to go to this very weird psychiatrist-who seem to know absolutely NOTHING about OCD. He will also leave for an other job in April... So I really don´t know what´s going to happen! Like I said; I´m hanging in the air.

For depression I'm not sure what dosage of Zoloft I was originally put on, but I've been taking 100 mg for years. When I had this recent episode, it was first upped to 150 mg then to 200 mg. So for only 4 months, 200 mg seems a lot, but not sure what the pdoc is trying to accomplish.

Ninni,
I'm sorry you are having such a rough time. I don't know how the system works in Sweden. I have been with a psychologist for a few years now.

Is there any way you can get back with a psychologist rather than a psychiatrist?

Sorry you're feeling so down. It must be really hard.

I hope you can find a caring psychologist and a better pdoc.
