I'm new here. Actually, I used to post here under another name but I couldn't remmember my password. I went on a date with this guy who was really outgoing and I am the opposite. It was weird because our whole date consisted of us talking about my shyness. I didn't really feel comfortable around hgim but I was attracted to him. I didn't feel like we clicked emotionally either, but I really wished for it to work ouit. I'm desperate... Anyway, he hasn't been returning my messages and I'm so depressed.

No, my name had nothing to do with judith before. Thanks for the support sky. I feel like no one loves me. I feel unloved. aLL my friends are from the internet and...it's just not the same.

Sorry about the crappy date, Judith. We've all had our share, I think. Even if it didn't work out this time, it's great that you tried. Have you ever tried a dating service? I hear that the new ones are getting really good at helping people find good matches.

Hi, judith...
It's really hard when you don't "click" and you just don't know why. Even harder when it DOES seem like you click, and you don't hear back. I agree about internet friends, it's not the same, but I'm sure thankful for all of them! Take it directly from Mr. Pitiful...(me): You are loved, and you do have friends, even if you can't see it now. I just had several show up in the last day or two...your friends are still there, you just have to fix it so they can see you. I wish you well... Your friend, DJ

Sorry things didn't work out with this guy. But believe me, there are many other fish in the sea!
I don't think that being shy is a bad quality! I know I can be quite shy at first, but then I do warm up to people quite well, and can sometimes be the center of attention. Meeting someone new is very hard, too. You have to think about what you will talk about, what you will do, on top of all the worries and insecurities that you have about the situation or yourself! Hang in there. There's someone out there for you!
