Ok, so I was reading through some files after obtaining my records from the local community counseling center. It says "Depressive disorder NOS r/o borderline traits" what does r/o mean?

NOS means not otherwise specified, so it's just a general diagnosis of depression. Don't know what r/o signifies. Someone will!

r/o means rule out. It means that there is not enough information yet to decide if the disorder/description applies, but there is a suggestion that it might apply.
