I take Zoloft, and I'm still depressed. Well I mean, I've been depressed for over 2 years but still...I used to take Prozac and that **** didn't work and idk...it's just lately I'm either on a jittery high all the itme...or i'm really low and depressed, like i'm talking mega low...possibly suicidal low :/ and it all hurts so bad because I know people care, but rght now, I can barely feel anything or all I feel is hurt and people just let me down and I just don't know what to do anymore...

what the external factors for you? Where are you at life? Do you feel you are going somewhere? IS there something you want to do? Do you feel something repressing you?

What would make you happy? Or at least satisfied?

hey rockerchic, it sounds like zoloft might not be helping you much anymore (if it ever was). Have you discussed the way you feel with your prescribing doctor? There are lots of different antidepressants out there, you may need to try a few before finding the right one.

Zoloft didn't help me much either. Prozac helps me more. Talk to your Pdoc okay?

Hi rockerchic.

I've taken a lot of medication but none really worked for me, neither did therapy. Out of desperation I started reading self-help books and they helped me quite a bit? Have you ever read some self-help depression books? I think they can help you out. The good thing is that you take the knowledge and skills you learn from these books with you for your entire life. That's useful.

Perhaps it's an idea to go to Amazon or some other online bookstore and search for "depression cbt" or "depression workbook". You'll probably find some good books.

That meds didn't work for me was driving me crazy. Luckily some self-help books did help me out. Maybe they can for you too.
