My mind is going in so many directions that I can not even think. Not sure why but when this happens:

I can not type - my fingers can not find the keys,
It gets hard to breath - do breathing techniques,
Spelling - forget it,
Try to do one thing - impossible,
I get the jidders - a feeling from the inside of my body,
Focus - none,
Frustration - can not control,
Mind is not spinning - but feels like it is being hit from a million differant directions.

All I can do is lay down. Any thoughts??

Have you ever been evaluated for anxiety? or any anxiety disorders?
I'm not too sure but i think depression can also cause anxiety..
Have you started or stoped any meds within the past two weeks or so?

Also, bipolar manic, and adhd come to mind...

Alaskan, how often do you have this type of episode? How long do they last? Where are the depressive feelings while this is going on? (Feel free to ignore my nosy questions...)

What a good idea printing out what you have written for your doctor! It is very hard to describe past feelings with any passion. Showing what you wrote while in or close to the moment is great!

Thanks!

Warmly,

Kate

I don't know how many times as I always thought it had to do with my depression. This one lasted 3 hours. Depression is always there. I live on a scale 1-10 for depression and SI thoughts. 1 being the best number. At this time I am at about a 4 for depression and a 3 on SI thoughts. This number system is so that I can tell my doctor how I am feeling. I have had these numbers at 10/10. This is time to go to the hospital, been to the hospital 3 times in the last 2 years.
Thanks for this!
