I am really depressed and trying to cope at work. Any ideas how to do this? I can't concentrate. I'm not sleeping at night. I can't focus most of the time. What should I do? Anyone in a similar situation? How can I keep working? I don't want to be around anyone. I have anxiety. Please help!

Thank you so much! I am seeing a psychiatrist and therapist and taking meds. I've been taking meds for 2 weeks now and I'm so spacey most of the time and have anxiety and trouble concentrating.

Thanks for your time!

I deleted my post while you were writing your answer (oops) because I saw you had put the info in another thread, so for those of you wondering what cornercurio is talking about, I asked if a T or pdoc was in the picture.

hi cornercurio! I have experienced this quite a bit, and I know it is scary and frustrating because you dont know when it will end and it seems like it never will. I am doing much better now due to a change in medication, but it did take time. I know every one is different, but try to hang in there while your medication is taking effect. it is not unusual to have to try different meds before you find what works. take it easy on yourself and just do the best you can. try to eat right and get lots of exercise to improve your quality of sleep. keep posting, there are a lot of great people here who understand
Thanks for this!

Thank you so much Marla! I will take my dog out for a 1 mile walk this afternoon. I am forcing myself to eat and I usually eat pretty well balanced and take vitamins. Thanks for the support!!!
