I feel unhappy lately, I am snapping at everyone I don't mean to but I can't help it, I do have a lot on my mind though and it is causing me so much stress, It is times like these that I wish I had a magic wand. All my life it has been one thing after another I wish I could find happiness.

Hello, Buttercup! It's great you have given up smoking, but I realise that may be the loss of a stress-reducer. Are you searching for possible stress-reducing substitutes?

Your body is still getting used to the lack of nicotine; this may be one reason you are snapping at people. It's a common thing in withdrawal from any drug, irritability and short tempers. I agree with Rohag that you need to look into a stress reducer. Have you ever tried progressive muscle relaxation? Once you get the hang of it, you can really make your body relax, even without the dark room and soft music. PM me if you want some directions on how to get started on this.

I remember feeling like this months after giving up smoking so I would also take on the suggestion of an alternative stress reliever. Be really kind to yourself. Lots of walks and bubble baths (I know it sounds lame....) Hugs to you.

Thank you

I feel a little better today, I think it could be lack of nicotine (well that is what I told hubby) I am glad he is home now.

Also being Bpd doesn't help
