Failure.
And it is creeping up on me all the time. So much happening and I can't seem to shake the feeling that I am failing at everything. I know it isn't like this but knowing it and feeling it don't seem to want to play together. No matter what I achieve I feel as if I have achieved nothing. No matter what I do I just don't seem to do anything right. Failure. Nasty.

Hmmm, yes I know that nasty little word far too well too. Almost like a voice in my head telling me that over and over again.
But you're not a failure! I know, it might not help at all me writing that to you, but it's the way I see it. I see you as a woman with much love inside her chest...to love is never a failure. I see a woman who fights through every day to do what's best for her family. I see a woman who cares for others! I see a woman who needs to be loved, cause life seems to have forgotten to give her that. Failure- NO! A wonderful person- YES! |

I couldn't say it better than Nina did. Words like failure stink and I've had them going round in my head way too often too. You are a wonderful person deserving of good things.... I hope you can see that soon!

Maybe look at it this way: When you do a few things right and things are going your way, do you get all puffed up and feel like a success and a great person? Probably not. So when things aren't going you're way, why call yourself a failure?
(I feel like a hypocrite even giving this advice, as this kind of double-standard is exactly what I do to myself.) |

Thank you Nina - I am fighting against it. Not easy but I will fight because I just don't want to be dragged down.
Fuzzy, you are right - the word stinks. ![]() JustBen - that is an interesting way to look at it and one I would not have thought of. Thanks

That is a very good point Justben. It's like the old saying goes. You have to take the good with the bad. In respect you have to also 'take the bad with the good.
Just my thoughts. Hi Sabrina, I hope that you are doing better today. ![]() |

We will be finished when Sabrina isn't feeling like a failure. Cool?

In that case - it may take a while.
