I just realized how hard must be for cancer patients among other severe diseases to go through pain, both physical and emotional. Today I found myself thinking if only depression and anxiety were visible, so visible as other illnesses and being able to get support from loved ones who mostly do not understand and do not know what to do...and then, well what if they do, this is not like cancer, it cannot be taken from you, and sometimes psychotherapists are at pains to figure out how to help, sometimes they might know a lot and not being helpful. As for the "psychodynamics" I know a lot....and? Here I am feeling it's over, rumminating on the wasted time, money spent, etc

Hello & Welcome, JM67! The feelings are agonizing, but what are you giving up? Are you too tired to keep fighting the feelings? Are you too fatigued to continue trying to manage or defeat depression?

Please keep posting.
