"You CAN and you WILL overcome it. Once you do it, it has to be an amazing feeling to know you can beat sadness after you've felt so much of it. Recovery is getting over depression and moving on, leaving all the cutting and all the crying behind. The world doesn't become any easier. There will still be sadness but you will know what to do while you stand on your own two feet."

This is a text I sent to a friend of mine who wasn't doing so well. Even I can admit to not feeling so well lately and I know other friends who haven't been feeling so hot either. I decided to share it because I thought everyone could use a pick me up every now and then.

Thanks for this!
