I did this to myself.. I'm 32, female.. I'm so embarrassed and ashamed. My dad is disappointed and worried. Why can't i hold it together? Why do I get so blinded by rage? I am a train wreck.

Cant play guitar or ride my bike, only 2 things that helped ease the pain of this crushing depression, for 6 weeks. Then physical therapy.

Feels like forever.

Just want to stay in my room, close my door, not see anyone.. sleep.. hibernate.

I feel so defeated.

Hi coneyislandbaby,
I'm a 41yr old male,and feel very similar.
The longer I stay Inside though, the harder It is to get back out there.
I hope that you feel better soon.

Thanks. I don't want anyone to see me like this though. I literally have been sobbing for hours. I can't fake not being completey crushed. I don't want people, friends, anyone but my dad to see me like this.

Punched a wall once and only once. I broke my hand too. I did it out of angish not anger.

Don't worry so much about people seeing you when your not at your best. Good people...friends...allow us the freedom to be ourselves. Besides, when we avoid people, they sense that something is wrong anyway.

Feel better soon!

Hugs!

I just got a raise at work so I'll be using the extra cash towards therapy.

Right now I'm just gonna cry about it. I'm home with nothing to do except cry.
