What do they ak u? What do u tell them? Is it awkward?
I'm not going to act on it, but I feel like things would be better if I wasn't he. I'd cause less hurt to people, and ts pain ld be over... |

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling that way
![]() The suicide helplines can be very helpful. They will generally just talk to you about anything you want to talk about. Most don't ask too many questions and let you guide the discussion. They would probably ask you about your intentions re suicide, and also discuss their confidentiality and mandatory reporting requirements. But other than that, they are usually just a neutral, friendly person to talk to when you are feeling down. |

I've only called the crisis line (not the suicide line). the guy was super helpful, talked to me for a while and when I got off the phone I felt a lot better. I'd do it again if I was ever feeling that awful again. there have been times when I thought of calling and didn't but just knowing it was there was comfort enough, if that makes any sense. definitely give it a try sometime. hugs.

I'm tempted to call tonight but idk if I can even talk thro my tears. Is that ok? I just want to give up and I barely think I can handle a conversation with someone telling me it'll be ok. It sucks- point blank. Wallow in it with me will ya?
