I feel like no one cares about me, I feel like everyone is better than me and that i am ugly and dumb. i feel not loved and that at times i feel that i would be better off gone disappear or dead. no i will not hurt myself but i feel like i would make everyone else happy if i was gone.

Welcome jone95....I'm so sorry that you're suffering, sounds really painful. It's good that you're reaching out, and hope you'll keep posting when you have anything on your mind. There are lots of us here who have had some of the same kinds of feelings. Warm thoughts going out to you....

hey jone95 am also new here but i totally understand how you feel but am 100% positive there are people out there who care and love you dearly i always thut the same thing and even attempted suicide but after i realised how much people cared for me never feel alone cu ur not...i care for u

Dear jone95,
If there is one thing I am learning about depression it is that it is a liar. For many years of my life it has made me feel dumb, fat, ugly, stupid, unlovable, unteachable, etc. It has progressed to the point that I feel unworthy of even God's love. I have been in that place again for the last six weeks so I can completely relate to your feelings. The truth is that you are uniquely and wonderfully you, as special as anyone else. Try to remember and combat the lies that would tell you otherwise. Grace and peace. |
