I don't know you so it's hard to say I care about you... But, I do know that suffering is horrible and I hate to see people in so much pain. So in that respect I guess I do care about you. I don't know what your struggles are, but if you are at the point that you don't want to live it must be bad. I'm so sorry you are suffering, and I hope you keep yourself safe! If you ever need to talk feel free to send me a message. Thanks for posting on here!

I'm SURE people care about you! We care about you!!! Can you tell us what your struggles are? What are you going thru right now? It would help to know a little more.

I'm so sorry you're feeling so depressed. It's awful feeling like this -- I've suffered from depression since I was a child, so I know how terrible it can be. Are you on medication? Do you see a therapist?

Please post some more and KEEP posting. We'll be here for you and we'll listen. You won't be alone. God bless you and please take care of yourself, okay? BIG hugs, Lee

I care about you. I know that I don't know you. But I really do care. There's always a reason to live. Yeah, we're all going to die at some point. But you need to live your life to the fullest. Some people would give ANYTHING to have life. Those that have cancer, or other life threatening illnesses would give anything to know for sure that they have another day of life. Life is a beautiful and amazing thing. You're only going to have one life. You need to live it. There's always a reason to be happy, love. There will always be something good just around the corner. Life is a beautiful thing, so keep smiling. There's always so much to smile about. I hope you feel better. Just live it up!

Ariesmars, how are you doing today? Is it possible to get away from the noises for at least a little while -- some quiet location?

Sometimes the days run one into another
Sometimes all you can do is sit a cry
Sometimes there is this deadness inside
Sometimes you awaken in the morning and "s*** another day" runs through your mind.

But, remember no matter how rough things get, there is someone here who cares. In fact there is more than just one someone. The best part about those on PC who care, they have or are traveling that same path.

nobody

I just read your thread about all the summer noises....my farm has a creek running through it & the frogs are LOUD....not only that but in the middle of the night, you can hear the moles mating calls.....which are VERY LOUD.....& of course, during the day, the cicadas are continuous. Luckily, I hear them, while at the same time am able to tune them out......think your volumn control & tuner are broken. People who have extra sensitivity usually have a broken volumn control. I am however aware of all the noises you are talking about after moving to the country. I even had a tree frog earlier in the summer that ended up on my front porch roof right under my bedroom window.....sadly, I think a bird must have gotten to him to shut him up because I found my little frog dead on my front lawn the other day......I really was quite fond of him even if he had a loud mouth.

Country has some interesting sounds to have to deal with especially when sensitive to it. As summer ends, so do the noises, into the fall with russling leaves then winter with the snap crackle pop of the ice

Do ear plugs help? I know I can't stand the feel of ear plugs in my ears.....I know that sounds are louder to me than to others but not to the extreme that you experience.

I remember as a kid going to school, I lived in a very small house with my parents & my bedroom was down a little hall from the den where they had the TV. They had the TV on while I was studying & the talking on the TV would cover up what I was studying & getting it into my brain.....I could sit there & read the same paragraph over & over & all I heard was what the TV was saying.....they even turned the sound down & closed the 2 doors & the sound was just like it was still normal volume. No one could understand why & it made my mother mad because they wanted to watch their TV......& it definitely frustrated me. I can hear sounds that other people can't even hear. I have been able to filter out some things better now than before, but even now when I'm reading, I can't have the radio on or I hear what the radio is saying & it blocks out what I'm trying to read.

Guess my brain doesn't have a good filter on it......don't know quite the why's on how it all works.....but I do understand at a lesser level what you are struggling with.

I've not experienced the problems you are having with out side sounds. Living in the south all windows are closed and the air conditioner cycles on and off. There is also a dialysis recycler here. Sometimes I don't notice (I take a lot of meds to get to sleep). However, there are times when I wake every time either turns on or off even with all the meds and ear plugs. Most times I just give up and go play games on the computer.

I'm sorry that you are so sensitive to the sounds around you.
