i am only 20 and have tried every form of medicine possible-several different drugs-acupuncture, pyschotherapy, ect. and i am still highly depressed. i just can't imagine the rest of my life being like this. i don't want to continue to live like this with this constant pain surrounding me. it feels like its not worth it.

Do you have access to a patient advocate or a medical professional who could look at your whole treatment history and then recommend a next step?

Hi ~ If your current doctor isn't doing enough to fight your depression, I think I'd change doctors!! My doc tried all different kinds of stuff for me, and finally found something that worked.

Currently I'm on Cymbalta 60mg twice a day. At one time he added Abilify to my meds too, and that worked GREAT, but I had to stop as it caused my legs & feet to swell, darn it. But it was wonderful while I was taking it, darn it. I wish I could still take it. You use Abilify WITH your antidepressant.

I wish you the very best. Keep us posted on your progress, ok? Hugs, Lee
