One thing that cheered me up when I was depressed was reading children's books like Tintin and Dr Seuss.

Thanks Can'tExplain!

I can't read adult books anymore, but I do enjoy children's books thankfully. Better than nothing! I've always been an avid reader to my daughters, and am anxious for them to pick up the habit of reading to themselves often. We found a fun series of books a couple of weeks ago, about a hamster named Humphrey in Kindergarten. We like that series of books a lot! They're cute and speedy reading
