Hi all,
I was re-hospitalized after 3 days out. Gawd I hate the adjustment to the realworld.

I assume it was mental health related? I was in a mental health ward for 2 weeks -- I "committed myself, as I had a nervous breakdown. That's what they called them back then. It was in the 1970's. Yeah, I was alive back then. LOL

I'm SO glad I did it. It was the very best thing I could have ever done for myself because I got to see my "shrink" every day and i loved her. She was great. She was the ONLY "shrink" that I ever liked cause she gave me feedback, whereas the other shrinks I saw only grunted when I talked to them. LOL

i hope you're doing well now. Please take care of yourself. God bless. Hugs, Lee

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you just aren't ready for any adjustment yet. Give it a little longer.

Dos3512, is any post-hospitalization assistance available to you?

I'm sorry you're having a hard time re-adjusting to the "real world". That's always something I struggle with too when I get discharged from the hospital. I'm glad you have the structure and support of partial though. Also, what are some things that were helpful about the hospital that you can implement now that you're at home? For example, having structure in my day was very helpful when I was inpatient, so I try to do that when I'm out in the real world too. Also, at one of the hospitals I was at, we read daily meditations for our check-in group in the morning, so I've added that to my routine.

Also remember that the transition takes time! I hope you feel better soon!
