I'm a little frustrated....I'm a full-time student, normally on Saturday I get a lot done, but today it just didn't happen. Let's see what did I get done; I did practice, and workout, laundry (at like 10:30pm), dishes, and a little studying. But It doesn't feel like I accomplished anything today. Ya, I got somethings done, but I still have a lot of reading for the week, and 2 quizzes next week... but I've noticed the depression symptoms returning... For me that includes; not doing much, anti-social behavior, and dark thoughts.....

I know I need to get things done, but I just don't want to..... AHHH and it just makes me scream, because I get behind, and then can't catch up, and then that spins me down farther.... What can I do to stop the spiral before things get worse???

The depression symptoms you mentioned describe me to a T. I'm no longer a full time student, but my old T used to tell me that I was easily overwhelmed and overstimulated if I took too much on at once. Maybe this would apply to you too? I wish I had more constructive advice to give you.
Thanks for this!

maybe if you make a list of what you have accomlished today, you will see how much you got done? Try rewarding yourself?

If there are still things to get done, try making alist of the things, then bear down and go through it.

hang in there!

Not sure, but that would be a lot in my book. Job well done. Try not to let depression put you down.

*This may trigger, ignore if you must*

Holy crap! You have a whole list of things you did in one day? That is impressive to me. For me, my Saturday consists of sleeping for 16-24 hours, if not 24 hours, playing video games for the rest. Seriously. There isn't a thing in this world that I "want" to do. Just passing time till death comes. Sorry, I don't mean to make anybody more depressed.

I work full time, and many days, like today, I don't say a word to anyone. How I keep this job is beyond me. And get this, they even advised me to apply for a promotion. Sometimes I think Satan is on their side just ****ing with my head.

So, I'm sorry that you can't get everything you want done, but wow, that is a huge list of accomplishments for just one day.

Hugs...

I just had 5 days off and spent 95% of it in bed with my lap top and cell phone.

I know that feeling. I have so much to do. . . it's racing around my head. But instead I spent today on the couch with my computer and phone too.
