Hi tomboy.....I'm sorry you're going through all this, sounds really hard. Maybe you could talk to a counselor at your school, or if you attend a church, to your pastor ~priest, etc. It sounds like you need to express what you're feeling to someone who is not involved personally with your family.....someone who might be able to guide you towards getting the help you need. Best wishes to you ~whimsy
Thanks for this!

I hope your T and Pdoc can come to some understanding of your situation so that your medications can reviewed and assessed. I do not which one of those persons are harder to communicate to, but looks like they will have change some things. I hope everything is straightened out soon.
Thanks for this!

As hard as this is you may have to ask your parents directly for help. For example, to see a therapist and or psychiatrist. It's much easier when your an adult because you don't have to go through anyone. This is probably why I never got help until I became an adult. But you have a big advantage that you are young. You have time to deal with what you are going through before it consumes your adult life. When I was in my partial hospitalization program recently there were people there in there late 50s and 60s that had been suffering their entire life but never sought help until their lives were really negatively affected. In my experience my therapist has become the person I trust the most and sometimes it feels like she is a close friend. I think you would really benefit from this type of relationship. What may be easiest if you decide you want to ask your parents for help is to write them a letter explaining everything. Then just hand them the letter and go to the other room and let them read it. You will probably feel really nervous but for me I think this would be easier than explaining it all verbally. Great truth can make itself apparent in the written form. Let us know how you are doing.
